After retirement Sharon and I decided we wanted to spend time doing work for our Lord and Savior.  We have always had a place in our heart for mission work.  We have helped support missionary's through our church, and even have participated in mission hands on work.  Two years ago we joined a mission organization of the United Methodist Church called NOMADS.  NOMADS stands for Nomads on a Mission Active in Divine Service. (www.nomadsumc.org)  We have been on many projects and continue to volunteer for more projects throughout the country.  I hope to keep our friends and family posted on our travels and the work that NOMADS is doing.  During our travels we will be taking breaks from the NOMADS projects and will also post those side adventures.
